I am a certified home inspector, serving Western North Carolina since 1982. (Hickory, Morganton, Lenoir, Boone, Blowing Rock, Beech Mtn., Banner Elk, Lincolnton, Shelby, Cherryville and more.)
I am third gereration Home Builder. My Grandfather was a Master Carpenter. My Father built many Residencial Homes, Restaurants and Commercial Buildings. I started gaining knowledge of how a building is put together from the age of 12 when I worked side by side with my Father during summer vacation.
I earned Building Contractors License in 1977 and have been active in Home Construction, and Reconstruction since then.
I am a licensed, Certified and Recommended Environmental Inspector by the EPA to test for all types of environmental issues.
The objective of a home inspection is to provide prospective purchasers with useful and relevant information about the house they are buying. This information is designed to: Ensure purchasers are comfortable with the information they have about the home, by explaining it’s various parts and systems in everyday language. Offer solutions to any significant findings that may arise during the course of the inspection.
I inspect a property as if my Grandchildren were going to live there. Safety is VERY important for me.
